The Man That Got Away free online in Canada

The Man That Got Away is now available online in Canada through the CBC.

This 25-minute short film is a musical documentary that tells the true life story of Trevor’s great-uncle Jimmy in six original songs. It won the prestigious DAAD Short Film Prize at the 2012 Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).

The film is written and directed by Trevor Anderson, with original music by Bryce Kulak. It is produced by Katie Weekley and Trevor Anderson. It stars Bryce Kulak, Noam Gagnon, and Aryn McConnell as Jimmy; and Connie Champagne as Judy Garland. The film is produced with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Edmonton Arts Council, Bravo!FACT, National Film Board of Canada, the City of Edmonton, and the Film and Video Arts Society - Alberta (FAVA).
